Sculpture
Lucianos from Samosate, the Greek satirist, told us in his "Dream", in which he lets Sculpture speak, that "Phidias, Polyclet, Myron and Praxitiles were very much praised and admired and that they are now worshiped among the gods." Did one ever bestow greater honor to artists than through such words? He talks about sculptors after all. So the sculptor is like Prometheus who, after he created the first man, stole the fire from the immortals.
